Standard headrail configuration also referred to as a 1-on-1 headrail, meaning there is one roman shade on the headrail.
Allows two independently operated roman shades to share one common headrail. Ideal for large window openings that will benefit from the increased light control of two shades. In addition two smaller shades are easier to operate than one large shade. Options that have a surcharge will be charged twice, one for each shade on the headrail.
The shade is mounted inside the window opening for a clean, tailored look. When selecting the sizes for the width and height measurements, enter the exact dimensions of your window opening. Do NOT enter the size of an old/existing blind or shade. The factory will make a 3/8" deduction (+/- 1/8" possible variance) off the ordered width for a proper fit. Please make sure your window meets the minimum inside mount depth required to accommodate the mounting of the shade, or the flush mount depth if desired. Depth requirements can be found on the product page.
The shade is mounted on the wall or window trim outside and above the window, covering an area larger than the window opening. Outside mount is required if your window opening is not deep enough to install the blind as an inside mount or if you want to make your window appear larger than it is. When measuring your blinds make sure to adjust the size for proper overlap.
Best for Kids™ - Clean, stream-lined and contemporary, the premium cordless lift allows you to raise and lower your roman shade without a pull cord. Push or pull the bottomrail to effortlessly raise or lower the shade. Ideal for homes with children or pets, the cordless lift completely eliminates the dangling cord hazards of traditional cord-controlled lifts. Shade material comes off the front of the headrail, so there is no valance.
Best for Kids™ - The Heavy-Duty Cordless Lift is designed for specific fabrics that the Premium Cordless Lift cannot lift easily. Using a slightly larger, 2" x 2" headrail, the Heavy-Duty Cordless Lift provides the same ease of use as the Premium Cordless Lift. Shade material comes off the front of the headrail, so there is no valance. Required for the Solange Fabric Collection fabrics.
The loop cord will stay at the same length regardless of the position of the shade. Pulling the cord in one direction will raise the shade and pulling the cord in the opposite direction will lower the shade. The cord is positioned behind the shade for a clean appearance on inside mount shades. On outside mount shades the cord is to the side and front of the shade and the shade will include a valance with side returns that hides the lift mechanism from view. For outside mount shades the headrail will be 1" wider than the ordered width. Inside mount shades do not have a valance. Eliminates the traditional dangling cord, adding child safety and a neater appearance.
The beaded nylon cord is extremely durable.
The beaded stainless steel chain is silver in color and is a popular choice for commercial spaces or homes with an industrial/modern decor.
The flat fold is also referred to as the waterfall style and it is the standard shade style. It is a simple, elegant, tailored design with no horizontal seams. This tailored style is an excellent choice for fabrics with large scale patterns that look best without interruption. When fully extended the entire pattern is displayed. Tack stitches used to attach the cord rings are visible on the face of the shade. When first installed this style should be pulled up fully and left in place several days to create "pleat memory".
The pleated fold is also referred to as either a classic fold or a plain fold. It has a structured contemporary look that requires minimal dressing. Stay pockets on the back of the shade create pleats which look great with most fabrics. The pleated fold stay pockets will interrupt fabrics with prints and is not recommended for geometric patterns. This shade stacks very efficiently due to the stay pockets.
The soft fold style is also known as a hobbled or looped fold. The soft flow of this style is created by hobbling the face fabric onto the lining at regular intervals. This creates cascading soft folds at 6" intervals. While still tailored, this style has a wonderfully soft feel. The flexibility of this style lends itself to use with all kinds of fabrics from more heavy, full-bodied to softer, more lightweight. Note that when using a pattern with a large repeat, the pattern will be interrupted at each pleat/fold.
The European fold style is also referred to as relaxed fold. The bottom sides of the shade curve upward when the shade is raised. This softens the entire look of the shade as the fabric gathers in random soft folds. Small tack stitches used to attach the cord rings are visible on the face of the shade. When first installed this style should be pulled up fully and left in place several days to create "pleat memory". The sides of the shade may give an inward curve referred to as a hourglass effect, this is normal and is not considered a defect. This shade style takes manual adjusting to achieve the desired effect. It is not recommended for frequent use, but more as a decorative shade.Note: Shades over 60" wide will have two European folds of equal size.
The light filtering liner is a basic light weight fabric made from 70% Polyester/30% Cotton blend. The liner is stitched to the back of the shade fabric and protects it from the sun while providing a neutral color to the outside. Available in white (recommended) and ivory (may give the shade fabric a yellow tint).
The thermal sateen privacy liner is a medium weight light filtering fabric that is 100% cotton with a 1 pass acrylic foam with rayon flock backing and has a smooth sheen finish. It provides protection from both heat and cold while also protecting your interior from UV rays which could lead to fading. Available in either white (recommended) and ivory (may give the shade fabric a yellow tint).
The premium black liner blocks 100% of incoming light from passing through the liner. The fabric is heavy-weight 100% cotton with a 3 pass acrylic foam with rayon flock backing. Recommended for blackout on less opaque, light colored fabrics. Available in white only.

Add a custom designer finish by adding an edge banded trim. Trim is 100% rayon ribbon and 2" wide. Edge banded trim will be placed on the left, right and bottom edges of the shade. Shade lift types with valances automatically get matching banded trim.
