Banded shades, also referred to as dual sheer shades, or zebra shades, combine solid and sheer linear bands to form a single shade that gives you unique light control. When aligned to have solid bands overlapping the sheer bands, you seamlessly block direct natural light and ensure privacy. When shifted, the sheer bands transition to diffuse light and reveal the view. The fabrics are comprised of both solid bands and sheer bands, that unite for a gorgeous combination of colorful accents or neutral hues. These light filtering fabrics are comprised of translucent styles that bring your space to life.

- Cordless Lift: Effortless positioning of the shade by simply raising & lowering the shade to the desired position. Two handles are sent with every Cordless shade and should be installed onto the bottom rail once the shade has been installed.
- PowerWand Motorized Lift: The battery life will vary based on the size and weight of the shade, and the number of times you operate the shade on a daily basis. At least one plug-in charger is required per order.
- AMP Rechargeable Li-ion Motorization: Lasts up to 500 up/down cycles on a single charge based on an average sized shade. The battery can be recharged up to 500 times. Takes approximately 6 hours to fully recharge. Not all motors run at the same rate of speed.
- AMP Rechargeable Li-ion Motorization: At least one plug-in charger is required on motorization orders. Shades ordered with the solar panel charger are also recommended to have at least one plug-in charger per order for initial charging and/or heavy usage.
- AMP Rechargeable Li-ion Motorization: Windows with metal casing may reduce radio frequency range or cause interference with operation. Do not let the antenna touch any metal objects.

- To ensure color consistency and minimize dye lot variation, order all shades for the same room at the same time.
- Fabric appearance can vary based on changing light conditions in a room and color reflection of the interior decor.
- Creases in the fabric may occur during transit due to the time the shade remains rolled up in the packaging material. To remove creases, lower the shade completely and let it hang for several days. Most wrinkles creases will resolve after several days.
- Dual Sheer shades will be narrower than the width ordered. To reduce the resulting light gap on each side of the shade and to achieve maximum privacy and better light control, consider Outside Mount and overlap the shade accordingly.
- Shades will have a larger gap on the control side of the shade than the non-control side of the shade. For continuous cord loop, the control side is the side the cord loop is on. For motorization, the control side is on the right side of the shade.
- Material edges may curl inward (hourglass). Long narrow shades and shades grabbed/handled at the side edges are more prone to curling.
- Loose fibers may appear on material edges from time to time. This is normal and does not affect the overall integrity of the shade. Simply trim off the loose fibers with a pair of sharp scissors.
- Inherent Fabric Characteristics
Due to the weave and nature of the material, the following are the inherent characteristics and are not considered defects:- A moire effect may occur when the sheer fabric bands are aligned.
- The fabric color appearance may vary based on the light conditions in the room, light reflection from interior decor, or the position of the shade (open/closed/partial).
- The front fabric may appear wavy or bow due to the weave and construction of the fabric.
- Static electricity build up on fabrics is a common occurrence in dry environments, especially during colder seasons. To help reduce static on your shades, lightly spray an anti-static product on the fabric or gently wipe the fabric with dryer sheets.
- Side-By-Side Band Alignment - Multiple Shades
Side-by-side band alignment refers to the alignment of the bands from left to right on 2 or more shades mounted next to each other. Exact alignment cannot be guaranteed. Please adhere to the following to ensure the best material alignment:- Order shades at the same time and in the identical color, height, lift type, and options.
- Do not use side-by-side for dye-lot consistency.
- To ensure the best material alignment, the combined width of side-by-side shades should equal less than the maximum fabric width (shown above).
- Fabric Note
Static electricity build up on fabrics is a common occurrence in dry environments, especially during colder seasons. To help reduce static on your shades, lightly spray an anti-static product on the fabric or gently wipe the fabric with dryer sheets. - Band Alignment
Band alignment from the front to the back panel can appear different. Fabric and sheer bands are set in fabrication to align front-to-back in the closed position. Due to possible slight variances in band sizes that are within industry standards, bands could appear to not align perfectly from the front to the back panel when in the open position. - Shade Height
The finished shade height will always be in the fully lowered, closed position with bands offset. When the solid bands are aligned in the open position, the bottom rail raises up slightly, approximately half the width of the solid band height.- Inside Mount:, the bottom rail will be slightly above the windowsill.
- Outside Mount:, it will be slightly above the bottom of the window opening.
- Care & Cleaning
- Shades are polyester and treated to help resist dust, dirt and stains.
- Dusting - Dust your shades regularly using a feather-like duster, or cylindrical dust brush specially designed for shades.
- Compressed air/Hair dryer (cool setting) - Use a can of compressed air or a hand-held hair dryer on the COOL setting to blow off dust and debris.
- Ultrasonic cleaning - Professional ultrasonic cleaning can be used.
- Vacuuming - Use a hand-held vacuum with low suction for more thorough dust removal.
- Important: Banded Shades should not be spot-cleaned.
- Indoor use only. Not intended for outdoor/unconditioned spaces.
- All factory measurements and deductions can have a ±3/16" variance
