Product Description (Eclipse Blackout Fabric Roller Shades)
The Eclipse Blackout Fabric Roller Shades are high quality roller shades available at an affordable price point. The 100% blackout fabrics are 100% polyester flocked acrylic with 3 pass blackout foam backing. They are hefty, heavy duty fabrics that are soft to the touch as well as sound absorbing and crease resistant. All colors are a neutral, light color to the street-side for a neutral and uniform appearance. To clean the fabric it should be dusted/vacuumed as appropriate.
Note: On all roller shades, the width ordered will be from "tip to tip" of the operating mechanism. For proper operation, the fabric width will be narrower than the width ordered. This can produce light gaps on each side of the shade. To compensate, you may want to order an outside mounted shade. Also, due to the characteristics of some shade materials, some shades tend to track to one side or the other. These characteristics should not be considered a defect.

- Roller shades will be narrower than the width ordered. To avoid the resulting light gap on each side of the shade and to achieve maximum privacy and light control, consider Outside Mount and overlap the shade accordingly.
- Shades will have a larger gap on the control side of the shade than the non-control side of the shade. For continuous cord loop, the control side is the side the cord loop is on. For motorization, the control side is on the right side of the shade.
- Extra material will be automatically added to the ordered height of your shade by the factory. It is required so material is always covering the roller tube when the shade is fully lowered. Never operate your shade lower than the ordered height.
- 100% Blackout fabric - Completely blocks incoming light from passing through the shade fabric
- Fabrics are 100% Polyester Flocked Acrylic with 3 pass Blackout Foam Backing
- Premium fabrics are heavy duty but soft to the touch - Sound absorbing and Crease resistant
- Cordless spring roller and continuous loop cord lifts can be mounted to the top, side or rear (without Cassette Valance)
- Cassette valance roller shades can only be mounted to the top or rear (no side mount is available for the Cassette Valance)
- Spring Lift (Cordless) shades must be operated in a slow/controlled manner. The shade cannot be released to raise on its own. You must be able to fully reach to the top of the window/shade for proper operation.
- Spring Lift (Cordless) shades will have internal catch points where you can stop the shade at. These catch points cannot be adjusted. Multiple shades will not catch/stop at the same exact locations.
- Cassette Valance (for Width <= 96" and Height <= 70") measures 3" (Height) x 3 1/4" (Depth) - Brackets add approximately 1/4" to the depth
- Cassette Valance (for Width > 96" or Height > 70") measures 3 1/2" (Height) x 4 1/8" (Depth) - Brackets add approximately 3/8" to the depth
- Cassette valance colors and end caps (coordinated to fabric color): White, Vanilla, Brown, Silver, or Black
- Reverse roll shades that are Inside Mount with the Spring Lift (Cordless) must be top mounted, this will create a larger light gap at the top of the window opening above the shade that will allow light to pass through
- Reverse roll shades that are Inside Mount with the Spring Lift (Cordless) must have the slotted bracket mounted backwards, facing the open end of the slot towards the window.
- Reverse roll shades that are Outside Mount with the Spring Lift (Cordless) must have the slotted bracket mounted backwards for wall mounts to allow for proper installation
- Cordless spring roller brackets are metal and silver in color. There is no bracket cover for this bracket
- Shade fabric is a neutral, light color to the street-side for a uniform appearance. The front and back of the shade are not the same color.
- All factory measurements and deductions can have a ±3/16" variance
